By creating an account or using ShutdownBoard, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.

Worker and employer accounts are separate. Each account belongs to a real person or company, and you're responsible for keeping your login secure. You must be of legal working age in your province to use the platform as a worker.

Job postings, employer profiles, and community groups are reviewed by our team before becoming publicly visible. We may reject or remove content that is inaccurate, misleading, or violates these Terms.

Provide accurate information about your trade, experience, certifications, or company.

Use the platform lawfully and treat other users respectfully in messages and community posts.

Don't impersonate others, post content you don't have the rights to, or try to work around the platform's role restrictions.

ShutdownBoard is a listing and connection platform. We don't employ workers, guarantee employment, or guarantee that any posting will be filled. Terms of any job — pay, schedule, travel, lodging — are agreed between you and the other party.

Message and notification features exist to support hiring conversations. Don't use them for spam, harassment, or advertising unrelated to industrial work.

You keep ownership of content you upload and grant other users of the platform permission to view it as intended (e.g., your profile is shown to employers). The platform's design and branding belong to ShutdownBoard.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShutdownBoard isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, or from interactions with other users.

We may update these Terms as the platform evolves; continued use means you accept the updated version. You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
